Excursion to the Bergen-Belsen Memorial
This excursion takes us to the former concentration camp, Bergen-Belsen. Between 1939 and 1945, 70,000 people were murdered there and countless more were tortured. Nowadays, graves, memorials and a documentation centre commemorate the suffering of the victims. Amongst these victims were Anne Frank and her sister Margot, who died at this concentration camp in 1945. On a guided tour, we will learn more about Anne Frank’s life after her hideout in Amsterdam was discovered.
