We visit the Christmas market in Goslar.
Every year, Goslar shines in festive splendour during the cold season: there is a seductive smell of cinnamon, baked apples and roasted almonds – Christmas is in the air! Romantically framed by the backdrop of the market square, many quaint, lovingly decorated wooden huts invite you to stroll and feast. We can indulge in culinary delights, listen to classical Christmas sounds, enjoy sweet Christmas treats and hearty bratwursts, and warm up with a hot mulled wine.
Lovers of arts and crafts will find original Christmas gifts, individual decorations for the Christmas tree and a festive home.
In the fairytale Christmas forest, in the middle of the historic old town, you can drink punch in front of a fascinating medieval backdrop, meet friends, have a relaxed chat and enjoy the Advent season. Surrounded by 60 large Christmas-romantic illuminated conifers on a fragrant forest floor, a visit becomes a contemplative event in a wintry setting. Pure pre-Christmas pleasure! We will travel together in a group from Göttingen station to Goslar by regional train with the semester ticket.
We will meet students from other universities directly at the station in Goslar.
